If you are using books for a Display then you can change the status of the book to reflect this.
There are currently two settings available on Heritage which have been used at Stoke Park.
Display
New Book Display
To use these settings change the accession status as appropriate on either the catalogue or accession record - this is also useful when searching the catalogue as the status will be given so you can see where the item is. This will treat the book as a 'Lost' item so if it is presented for loan you will be asked if the item has now been found.
You can also add an accession event in the accession record if you would like to record for which displays the item has been used.
